Residential Septic Tank Pumping

A residential septic system is a sewerage treatment and disposal system that uses a buried, water-tight tank to receive and partially treat raw domestic wastewater. The tank holds the wastewater long enough to allow solids to settle and form sludge, while oil and grease float and form scum. The wastewater is then discharged to the drainfield for further treatment and dispersal. A septic system handles waste from the toilet, bathing, laundry, and kitchen.
